Come beta read a literary novel!
Hello there! I'm Abigail J. H., a writer, and smaller-time animator. I'm in need of beta readers to test the final product of my upcoming novel. This novel is the first and last rewrite of a previous book called, The Alpha Mix and His Fated Storms. This book is a literary novel with a little action and adventure. If this is your type of story, come join the other beta readers and share your valuable and honest thoughts and opinion.

stating that you want to become a beta reader. From there I'll contact you. You'll be given a temporary pdf file of a few chapters, different forms for each individual chapter, and a deadline. The process is straight forward and easy. If you don't know what to include in the feedback, there are some questions in the forms to help you.

How does this work?
You will have to email me saying that you are interested in beta reading my upcoming novel. I will hit reply and send you a PDF file that will contain the first few chapters, and links to online forms for you to share your feedback for each chapter below the PDF file. Just fill out the forms and ... yeah. That's it. A super simple process. When your done filling out the forms for the first few chapters, just email me "done" and I'll send you the last few chapters as soon as I can. Then just fill out the forms.
Will I get any rewards?
I'm going to be honest, I broke af ... but, if the book becomes a success within the two months, I'll email you a monetary gift for sharing your helpful feedback only if you beta read all eleven chapters and completed all twelve forms. So be sure to share your most honest feedback to improve the story and tell everyone you know to pre-order the book when that option is available. You'll benefit from it. When is the deadline?
Due to unforeseen family and personal matters, the book is delayed. Beta reading process starting now until Dec. 16, 2025.
What all do I need to include in the feedback?
The forms are mostly questions that are multiple choice, ratings, and short answers. There will be sections where you can provide additional long feedback answers. The section of each form is split up based on the type of questions. These are the section to expect:
Character and character development
Plot and pacing
Settings and description
Grammar and Punctuation
How is the chapter overall
How is the story so far
How does this story affect you as a reader (Audience)
Demographics (this will help me define my audiences)
If you are having trouble finishing a chapter because of the story, do send me an email stating which page number you started to get stuck on, and why.
Will you recommend me to other writers?
The most I can do is give you a shout-out on my social media platforms if the book becomes a success and you give me permission to do so. Unless someone specifically ask about your performance, then I'll detail my thoughts about your ability to beta read.
Who all can be your beta reader?
Anyone who is over 18. Anyone who like literary stories that provokes deep thought is encouraged to beta read this story.
